In this role, you would contribute to CDM Smith's mission by performing the following work: --Prepare and produce construction contract documents, following prescribed methods and standards. --Prepare and produce design presentation materials, following prescribed methods and standards. --Coordinate building design formulation and development of construction contract documents with architectural and engineering staff. Adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction. Willingness to work under time and budget pressure. Excellent design and drafting skills with high proficiency in Revit. A keen eye for detail design. Research construction materials, technologies and methodologies as directed. Minimum Qualifications Education: Professional degree as described by the Council of Architecture (COA) Architects Act, 1972 ,5-year undergraduate degree course in Architecture or Master degree.(B.Arch or M.Arch) Experience: Min 2 years of professional work experience is required. Understands the most advanced technologies and methodologies in the use of construction materials. Working knowledge and creating building designs in 3d with highly detailed drawings by using Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD), preferably AutoCAD, Revit,ADT,sketchup.and familiarity with modeling and rendering software programs like 3dsmax,. Familiar with basic business office software (Word, Excel, etc.). Appropriate writing and interpersonal skills.
